

Employees Provident Fund contribution rate cut from 12% to 10% for the months of May, June and July, 2020 The Ministry of Labour & Employment has notified cut in employees’ provident fund (EPF) contributions to 10 per cent from the existing 12 per cent for three months May, June and July, 2020. The intention is to increase employees’ take home pay and reduce the liability of employees suffering liquidity crunch under lockdown due to COVID-19 pandemic.
